Geetanjali Rathee has pursued her higher education in the domain of Computer Science and Engineering. She completed her M.Tech. and Ph.D. from Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), India. During her postgraduate studies, she actively engaged in research as a Research Assistant, contributing to various projects related to software engineering, compiler design, and multimedia systems. Her doctoral research was focused on security mechanisms in cognitive radio networks and blockchain networks, which laid a strong foundation for her later research endeavors.

With over a decade of experience in academia, Geetanjali Rathee has held multiple teaching and research positions. Before joining NSUT, she worked at JUIT, India, as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) from December 2017 to June 2021, and as an Assistant Professor (Grade II) from March 2017 to November 2017. Prior to this, she was a Research Assistant during her Ph.D. and M.Tech. studies at JUIT. Throughout her teaching career, she has instructed both undergraduate and postgraduate students in courses such as data structures, compiler design, theory of computation, blockchain technologies, and computer networks.

Her primary focus areas include blockchain networks, security in wireless mesh networks, cybersecurity in cognitive radio networks, parallel computing, cyber-physical systems, and fog computing. She has worked extensively on developing trust mechanisms for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and ensuring secure communications in next-generation networks. Her work integrates artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cryptographic techniques to enhance security frameworks in emerging technologies.
